No. It does neither of those things and there’s no way in hell I’m clicking on a Murdoch owned op-ed.

Biden had to do it. He knows there are madmen coming in and he couldn't risk his son's life to them.
It's about time the Democrats stop taking the high road and doing the 'right' thing. They need to get tough.

Complete bullshit. This is what you get when billionaire fascists own the media companies.

Pardoning his son does not taint his legacy. Sitting by while Netanyahu slaughtered 10's of thousands of women and children committing atrocious war crimes, targeting aid workers, causing a famine so that Israel can use the excuse of hostages and self-defense to expand their territory and commit a genocide on the people they hold in an apartheid state should absolutely be his legacy.

Trump: PRESIDENTS ARE ABOVE THE LAW!
SCOTUS: Presidents are above the law
Congress: Presidents are above the law
MAGA Supporters: Presidents are above the law
Republicans: Presidents are above the law
News Media: Experts say President is above law
Americans: That sounds pretty good to a majority of us! Presidents are above the law!
Joe Biden: Okay then. Thanks, I guess.
Everyone: NO! NOT LIKE, HEY, NO, WAIT, YOU CAN'T, BUT, BUT, BUT WHAT ABOUT NORMS!? WHAT ABOUT NORMS?!!!

Sadly enough - and I like Biden - his legacy got torn to pieces when he let Garland turn into a sleep walker when what was needed was a knight with a flaming sword and a prison cell for Don the Con

Not really, at this point he would be a bad father not to, considering the wave of pardons for actual criminals coming.
Hunter's biggest issues were drugs and being Biden's lesser son.

Trump lies 12000 times, documented and easily proven. Biden lied once, on not pardoning his son. Clinton had his infamous (consensual) affair, on logs, for Epstein flight. Trump was too, and poses in more pics with Epstein, than all other celebs combined / had 20 + women accuse him of sexual assault BEFORE he even ran for prez (so it is not political). Kamala details multiple ways she’ll help families. Trump / JD reply to child care concerns w/ some bullshit about oil drilling, or grandma could help. Tired of double standard plus a much higher bar set for Dems.

Presidents have the power to pardon people. Using that power in the most rational and emotionally understandable context doesn’t strike me as at all shocking.
Hunter was convicted of civilian crimes as a private citizen, after a massive campaign by conservatives in power. Trump pardoned multiple literal war criminals and people convicted of state-level corruption. There is no equivalency.

There wasn’t much of a legacy left.
I’m just glad we don’t have to see what his idea of “saving democracy” was.
