Are we the only ones debilitated by this URI's? It keeps cycling in our home. I know having kids brings in much illness from time to time but this seems excessive. It's not pertussis or c19 and chest x-rays are clear but it takes 6 weeks + to clear out. My 15yo brought it home from H.S. in the first half of DECEMBER and we're still sick. :(

Kids were sick immediately after returning to school from winter break and it was awful. We had fevers, body aches, and a terrible cough. Oldest woke up with a fever this morning after just getting over the last bout of illness. This season has been relentless.

No, but there certainly has been something nasty going around recently. My youngest caught it and has been sick for more than a week.
One thing to consider is the possibility of virus-induced asthma. I've recently been reminded that I have that.

Last year when I had stopped wearing a mask everywhere I got really sick 4 different times so I decided to go back to wearing mask when I do errands or basically inside anywhere that's not home. I have not been sick since and allergies near non-existent. I hate wearing mask, but at this point it's worth it.

Just a reminder to everyone that if you’ve had COVID, especially multiple times, your immune system took a major hit and you’d be wise to make some life changes to protect yourself better. If you’re concerned enough to see a doctor, ask to get your T levels checked. I’d highly recommend masking back up, free respirators are available through Mask Bloc Eugene on Insta!

It’s definitely been a school year of someone home sick, getting over being sick, feeling good then someone not feeling great and repeat 🙄

My neighbor and her school aged grandchildren that she has custody of have been sick constantly this year. Their family has been through some serious stress/trauma this year and I have been attributing it to that, because of the relationship between stress and immune system function.

We’ve been sick since the beginning of January, tested negative for flu/covid/rsv. Finally clearing up now for us.

No sickness in my home. I think it's probably due to us not having and kids in our household. I feel like kids bring a lot of that stuff home from school over and over again.

Be sure and sterilize everything, including your toothbrushes, so you’re not constantly reinfecting yourselves with the same virus.
