Wayne county inmates care packages! Please help

Sorry if this doesn’t belong here, idk where else to ask at this point. My child’s father is incarcerated at Wayne county jail & I would like to send him a hygiene care package. All the available options for care packages through JailATM website is food options except one, labeled “legal care pack” There is no description or photo of the contents. Does anyone know what is included with this?? Thanks in advance

I wonder if Tom Gores knows about this scheme, he's been making huge bank profiting on incarcerated people having access to phones for years.

There's a customer service phone number for jail ATM. they answer all times n days. U should b able to call n ask.

The best way is to put money on his books.This will allow him to purchase what he needs/ wants. The care packages on the website will take longer to get to him.

Through the jail you can have funds put directly into their commissary account so. He can buy deodorant, razor, etc.

I would rather donate my money and food to people who were burned out of their houses, and not the county jail. In another word of warning, when I was a young girl, somebody talk to me into being penpals with inmates that were.” non-criminals.” so I did, and one day to my surprise, the man I was writing to broke out of jail ended up on my front door because he had my address. Don’t ever do this.

I must really be out of the loop, I didn’t know that we could send Care packages to inmates, and if you’re not a family member, why would you? We had a family friend who would rather sit in jail, gamble, playing cards, could lay in bed all day and head, three square meals rather than go out into the world, take care of his children and work. It is a big fat no for me, this is not club med, it’s jail. It’s not meant to be a vacation destination. In the reason behind incarcerated someone is maybe that it’s not a pleasant adventure and maybe they will try not to go back to jail, am I wrong?

I guess just buy it and he’ll be able to tell you what it is. I’m going to guess it could be something like toothpaste, soap, etc
