Americans don’t hate Mexicans. Especially in Texas. We love their food, culture, heritage, cities, resorts etc.
We don’t support illegals or law breaking. Nor do most Mexicans and Latinos that are here legally and followed the laws and paid their respective dues processes.
It’s something of a foreign concept to most libs.

This is what non Texans are never able to understand. The culture of Latinas and especially that of Mexico and Texas, are very much intertwined together. Nonetheless that people fail to recognize that Texas is one of the most diverse states in the country. The issue is that deportation isn't the solution at least long term. Although we very much do have an illgeal problem that is increasing cost from housing to education to taxes. The only solution that seems to make sense to me is a process of legalization that has a faster turnaround instead of having to wait 4,6,8 years to become legal. If you are a habitual criminal, yes, you should have to leave the country, but if you are a law-abiding and productive member of the community, I do not see a justification for deportation. These are our neighbors, family, and friends, and it hurts me to see an issue like this to people I know my whole life. They are very much Texan and even more American than many american born citizens, and hell, we Texans are very much Mexican in that aspect as well in terms of our cultures, similairty, and respect for each other.
