Random ETH sub vs entire r/cryptocurrency sub with full official backing from reddit + mods + vault function is a completely different ball game.
It means reddit have actively decided that in this instance the cryptocurrency ETH and their ERC20 token standard is the best tool for the job, it proves that cryotocurrencies can not only be used in real life, thus creating genuine utility, but they also were the best choice for the job.
You hear these 'partnerships this and partnerships that' how many of them can actually be verified? Most are just pumped out in news to time it with a TA MA crossover or something for someone to make a quick buck.
This is real use case, real users, real platform. It's exciting and encouraging.
