View submission: Introducing r/CryptoCurrency Moons

Reddit Community Points is a new point system launching in select subreddits.

Users earn these points based on their contributions to Reddit, and can redeem them for various rewards.

Each community has their own points. Today /r/Cryptocurrency is launching "Moons" and /r/FortniteBR is launching "Bricks"

These points exist as blockchain tokens on the Ethereum blockchain (although the are on a test network for now).

Question, i checked out the vault the other night on my phone while in bed, i had some moon, but didnt want to create the seed/pw as had no pen at hand, created the wallet today and i have no moons, is there anyway i can retrieve the previous wallet without the seed pw, or does it just create a random seed if u dont input one? i didnt think the wallet would be created till you entered a seed pw. When i go on PC too, it tells me to claim my "unclaimed moons", but when i scan the QR it just goes to vault with 0.

I was trying to view content on Chrome and it isn't showing moons next to anyone's username but it is showing up in Firefox and via the IOS app. Maybe it is just me but if you don't see it to send someone a moon, try the app or another browser.

Adam Hat's off, great write-up but don't you need to set the network in Brave / MetaMask / MEW or whatever to Rinkeby. I don't see the BRICK or MOON token on the mainnet.

Also, I think the contract addresses may be needed as well to view these. I know you've shown them before, but I think the addresses for each are:

Can the functionality be added for us to have our Metamask wallet balance link to our reddit account instead of our Vault? Useful for those of us who are desktop and not mobile Reddit users. I know it works for DONUT so it should work for Moons too. /u/AdamSC1 /u/jarins

I'm deliberately replying to this post in the hopes that I get some positive votes and karma so that I can get some moons so that I can retire with dignity. Sadly, think that will possibly work out better for me than U.S. social security.
