Name's Julian, I lurk around here occasionally. I have a Master's in psychoanalysis and a bachelor's in linguistics. I left academia and I'm trying to become a journalist right now (more subculture/counterculture oriented stuff), but I still have a soft spot for critical theory and psychoanalysis and all that.

A while ago, I was going to an anarchist library in my city and reading the classics (Malatesta, Bakunin, Emma Goldman, etc.). Unfortunately, due to their patronizing behavior and some disagreements, I left.

I've recently been getting into old newspaper comics. Trying to read through all of Calvin & Hobbes right now. I like the earliest era the best so far, I'm in mid 1988 now and I think the humor is a bit stale in comparison.
