1. Will a villian possibly be a love interest for the main character, not just the good guys/girls?
2. What genres are you going to write?
3. Will our choices have consequences?
4. Will we get multiple love interests as well as single love Interest stories?

1. What can you tell us about some of the villains in Project Spellstruck?
2. If you’re comfortable answering, do you have any ideas for games in the Crime/Mystery, Horror, or adventure genres?
3. Do you plan to make Project Spellstruck a one-time purchase from the app store, or will there be microtransactions with in-game currancy to make certain choices?
4. Do you plan to drop the entire story of Project Spellstruck at once, or have weekly updates with a certain amount of content?
5. On average, how long do you think it could take someone to complete one playthrough of Project Spellstruck?

1. Will there be plenty of Gender of Choice content? If so will there be better gender coding for those that choose a male MC?
2. Will you have a more of a focus on multiple LI stories?
3. Will there be stories what have different endings whether being an ending that the player chooses like in Endless Summer or unlocking an ending that depends on how well you play like in The Heist: Monaco?
4. Will the books have a more story and character focus over sex?
5. Will there be more of a focus on building a relationship with the LIs over the MCs and LIs having instant lust?

Are there some concepts you wished you could've implemented in past books but couldn't?

Making sure to phrase this politely: what are some “old” things (game mechanics, writing philosophies, etc) they hope to carry over that we would recognize from their Choices works, like viewable character relationship levels like Endless Summer and AME, and then what are some “new” things (as much as they can say) that they’re excited to add in and try out?

1. What was the purpose of implementing single LI stories and why did it become the predominant model?
2. What level of research has your team done to ensure authentic representation of the cultures and concepts you've utilized in Project Spellstruck?
3. Will you ever use AI in your games' workflow?

Will it be possible to not romance anyone if you want?
Also please make the app icon and app store images that isn't something I would be ashamed to have open in public

Will there be more diversity in the book covers? (I.e. more POCs, same sex couples)

Quite a few questions:
1. How many LIs are you planning to have for Project Spellstruck (male and female), and will it be standard to have multiple LIs for your (potential) future projects?
2. How good will the gender coding for the MC be (particicularly worried about the MMC)? Will details in the narrative shift depending on their gender? Enough to make playing from any perspective feel believable?
3. Will female LIs receive the same amount if treatment as male LIs?
4. Will there be stats that influence the narrative or MC's personality/decisions?
5. How extensive will the branching be? Could we play multiple times and emerge with a different outcome or will it feel more like a linear story?
6. How detailed will the NSFW content be? Will sex scenes, for example, be glossed over using somewhat vague language, or will it go into detail?
7. Will the story have a log we can use to refer back to prior conversation if we miss something?

1. How will customization of the MC work, will we be able to pick the gender or race of our character?
2. Still on the topic of customization: Will we have to pay for some outfits with the app currency, or do you plan on using a different method?
3. Do you ever intend to use AI for character assets, background art, or cover art?
4. When do you think you’re going to release the app to IOS/Google Play?
5. Will Project Spellstuck be released as soon as the app is out, or are you planning on doing weekly updates for chapters?

Any chance for love interest antagonists like Poppy from QB or say Nyrissa for people who played Pathfinder Kingmaker.
Also what is the intended balance for GOC books and female love interests? Will Candlelight be like a lot of games where there are lots of male LIs and one female LI that has less time than any of the other multitude of male LIs?

I likely won't be able to attend (around midnight for me), but if I did the questions would go something like this (some may be a bit nosy):
Regarding the company/process itself
1. Do you currently employ (or have plans for in the future) your own artists, as opposed to outside vendors?
2. Will you consider making a single solution for your content (alike Choices, SL, ...) in the future, or do you intend for each project to be handled separately (like PC VNs)?
3. (related to the first question) Do you plan to have similar/cohesive style across potential multiple projects?
4. What's your philosophy regarding tracking player interaction/engagement/stats and how will it influence your creative process? I'm aware of your "Player First" value, but I'm curious how do you intend to balance between social input and in-game stats.
5. Are you primarily focused on the US market (incl. company structure), or do you intend to become more international if successful? Whatever comes to your mind, from content themes to company presence.
Regarding project Spellstruck
1. How much of the MC's character will be set (primarily determined by single choice) and how much freedom will the players get to build it up as they progress?
2. Is the version in the making a closed-off story, or are you keeping it open for potential direct continuation (same MC+other characters)?
3. Will the story be linear?
4. What's the one thing you learned while working on this game that you previously didn't consider during your previous projects, if any?
5. Will we see some unusual food in the game?

I have a few questions!
1. What kind of story genres can we expect to see? Is the app going to consist of many steamy stories/romance or can we expect some genres like LoveHacks, The Freshman Series and It Lives? 😄
2. Will some stories have different endings based on character choices like in Endless Summer?
3. Is your app planning on integrating AI technologies? What would this look like? (Eg. AI generated character faces/book cover pictures)
4. Will there be an options to choose MC body types?
5. Do you plan on having a type of VIP “program” (whether implemented right of the bat or in the future)?
6. What are your thoughts on viewable relationship levels between characters? Can that be something we can expect in some stories?
Those are all my questions for now 😅 thank you in advance, I’m excited for the app!

1. what were some of your favorite playchoices books? (not just the ones you worked on, but any book!)
2. how much do our choices tangibly matter in project spellstruck? are there visible in-game mechanics that track our progress and determine the final outcome of the story? differing dialogue later in the game that reflects choices made earlier on?
3. is there a preset, non-customisable MC? or perhaps one in a future project? and are all of the characters preset?
4. how much focus is on romance, and how much on friendship, adventure, magic, and the actual story?
5. is there a one-off payment for the game, or will it be freemium style like playchoices? any chance of a steam release?

Will there be books similar to Cause of Death or Surviving High School or Veil of Secrets? Male MC? Female LI? GOC MC/LI? I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us. Also, any need for beta testers? If so, sign me up!

Congrats on the new venture! We certainly hope you feel the support and love - we’re all so excited.
This is a silly question, any possible chance that you’ll be able to write sequels for some standalone books from Choices?
I know there’s probably a ton of red tape, legally and financially, but just wondering if that was ever in discussion. On the Choices ‘ Instagram, they personally have written a comment publicly supporting you guys at Candlelight Games. Wondering if there’s a chance of a collab…
I ask this because, my absolute favourite story from Choices is ✨ Ride or Die ✨and I can’t even begin to explain how I’d feel if this ever got continued.

I'm just interested in how they're going to go about it. Like, will they drop the base game and have updates. Or will it be in chapters like Choices that get dropped weekly.
Also, what the in game currency is going to be like.
