It's not a debate, realistically we need a goal scorer. Jackson is nowhere near reliable enough to start for Chelsea, nor can we depend on him. Super sub? Absolutely. But to fight for the Champions League and win games, we need a clinical 9. Who should we realistically go for in the summer? I would rather we purchase Isak as he's the most reliable in the Prem.
(assuming our owners don't buy another 18-year-old winger in the summer)

I’m guessing some 19-year old French guy with high potential and a 7-year contract

Gyokeres or Oshimen is more attainable next summer. Isak would be perfect, but too expensive.

How long before those South American kids come over? Wasn't one of them a striker.

We will buy a striker but he'll be a 17year old with lots of potential and zero experienced, infront of that guy jackson will look like R9.

I like sesko. Think we need something different up front and more of a focal point.

We love injury prone players so I’m pretty confident that we will sign Osimhen

What the team needs is an experienced 20 goal scorer, preferably that's spent a bit of time in the prem , that can knock in a cross and press hard. Isak would be a dream. What will actually happen is a 17 year old with great potential to be a star in 2030 to sell of for profit in 2 years

Delap wouldn't be a bad choice. Euan Ferguson would also fit the bill. Not sure on the prices but they are young, physical and have Premier League experience.
If we went for someone more experienced, there are not many to choose who match those criteria. Callum Wilson? But he's always injured. Jesus at Arsenal? Not clinical. Is Cunha worth it, maybe?

Delap and Ferguson should be avoided at all costs, both are in poor form, and we should have similar in our youth set up.
Requirements are quite simple, someone like Drogba or Costa. A leader a warrior a 20 goal a season striker. I’m not sure exactly who that is, though I like the idea of Sesko and osimhen, but tbh that’s the job of the sporting directors and if they don’t fix it properly this season they should be sacked and sued for negligence.

I’d like Isak, Gyokeres even…
Reality is I can see this board going for Liam Delap. Which is another dice roll. Just think we should go for an established ST.

Gyökeres makes twice as much sense to me as anyone else except maybe Isak(but I'd still def rather have Viktor). Nothing about Osimhen excites me, the league he has scored 24 in 24 is trash, that doesn't translate to more than 10 in the Prem in my opinion. The Portuguese league is much closer to our competition

Osimhen/Gyökeres if we're serious, Delap/someone else probably.

Delap or Isak but I'm sure Newcastle will hold Isak ransom for an insanely high fee

Very rogue shout but would rather spend less on an experienced prem proven player and I think Wissa is a great option. 11 goals in the prem this season and fits the profile well

The Nigerian Victor. His aerial ability, willingness to close down defenders, run into space and being strong physically make him a perfect number 9 and central striker
