Ironically, there’s not that many offices anymore and a lot of the smaller apartment buildings/old offices are being converted to short-term rentals, so actual apartments are needed!

I live downtown and the theater is pretty much the only reason I walk the three blocks to the mall. Normal people don't eat out several times a week. We go down there maybe once or twice a month for dinner, once or twice a month for a concert and 4-8 times for movies. When they built the pedestrian mall they had the common sense to realize the mall needed anchors of attraction to bring people down there, and built the ice park and the movie theater. Now these idiots will have removed both. The first for that half empty CODE building, now this.
