I have no idea if this is the right place to write this down but have to tell someone because it’s weird and funny. Just for a little back story- my husband got me a toy poodle in august 2023. He didn’t want me to get lonely at home. My father had just passed after a short battle with cancer and my youngest moved out for school. My little buddy and I are pretty attached to each other and he goes everywhere with me. He’s very cute and his name is Georgie (I’m a big Stephen king fan).

I’m a sleep talker. I do it all the time. I’ve had whole conversations with my hubby in the middle of the night. Occaisionally I will wake him up yelling at him or just yelling or laughing etc. Once I woke him up reciting the rosary. I’m not even Catholic!?!? Georgie does this thing when he’s happy, he makes little groans and funny little growls at me usually when he’s sitting on my lap, and I make the same noise back it him. It’s our little thing. This morning I woke myself up making these little growls because he was lying on top of my neck making his happy sounds. I was speaking Georgie in my sleep! I’m so weird lol and I just had to tell someone. Thanks for reading!🤣

That’s adorable! I have the talkingest dog you ever met, and we have long meaningful conversations (to us), but no pillow talk I’m aware of.

Georgie sounds like the best little buddy, and I love that you were literally “talking” his language in your sleep. Pets really have a way of becoming family, don’t they?

Awww you two!!! My dog and I used to chat in our sleep, too. I miss my guy, he was my soul doggie. It seems Georgie is yours. Thanks for sharing your sweet story.

This reminds me of my partner's dog; when he reeeeeeeaaaaaally likes the pets, he'll groan and growl and pant and then get so excited he has to roll around and run off.

It's so fucking funny.

He's a kelpie with doggie ADHD.

Pets are the only faithful beings who give their love and company in exchange for nothing. I hope everyone has a Georgie in their family and fills him with love.

That's awesome! My dog and I have conversations too, I know what all of her growls and barks mean, I can even read her body language now so she can just give me a certain look and I will know what she wants. We howl together sometimes, like we're wolves!

Awww. That is so cute. I have a cat that says hello. She meows very loudly when she wants to be fed. I swear it sounds just like hello.

I have a mini poodle and she’s just the sweetest. So cute you did that in your sleep. That’s true love ❤️
