I'm sorry you hurt yourself; I hope you recover quickly. Don't worry about being embarrassed. While people might have taken momentary notice, most people are so absorbed in their own lives that little else registers. The only person who still remembers your fall is you.

Although, I totally remember, seeing a number of people fall throughout my years – and attempting to help them. Definitely not judging them.
When I lived in NYC, my cart full of groceries and I took a header, and five random strangers came and helped. One picked me up. Two of them brushed me off, one of them re-organized my cart and explained the physics of moving objects, another one of them chased my sweet potatoes that were rolling into 14th St. it was a really good memory, of how people can be helpful and kind.
