View submission: What’s the weirdest “unwritten rule” everyone just follows?
My unwritten rule is to play peekaboo with a baby if we're waiting in a line together. If I make eye contact with a baby out in public, I always wave and smile.
I miss having a little baby.

even that is somewhat regional. I do it too (Midwesterner) but it was weird to people in NH.

I honestly love it. I’ve had workers at shops hide behind pillars and play peekaboo with my daughter and she gets so excited. Women from various stages of parenting will play with her or say hi. I’m soaking it in as much as I can because I know this stage is so short
