View submission: What’s the weirdest “unwritten rule” everyone just follows?
I’ve noticed people from left-hand drive countries walk on the left side of the aisle. Is that true?

London is fun, because I first went there assuming that people would walk on the left and prepared myself in advance. No. With the exception of escalators (where everyone obeys the rules always, mostly), everyone just walks wherever the fuck they want.

Hey, I’m Australian and can confirm that we will automatically walk to the left. This can cause problems when we travel internationally.

Been in some of those countries, but I can't remember if the walking patterns followed the driving.

Generally yes, except there's always that one fuckhead who will walk on the right around a blind corner because of course there is.

No, it's still right in the UK.

always go left. Seems weird otherwise. Worse when you go to cross a road and the traffic is coming the wrong way. Im australian and went to the US and nearly died a million times looking the wrong way.
