I wish people realized just how lucky they are to have the things I dont. For example, I dont have a good family, a car, a job, or friends, and Im disabled. Im actually too mentally ill to keep friends and I dont have the capacity because my mom emotionally neglected me. I still managed to find happiness though, like playing Paper Mario on my Wii. Atleast I still have a Wii. I wish I could improve myself but so many times I feel myself having no option, which leads to suicidal ideations. Its hard to live when being just born was enough to ruin my life basically.

It's absurd. I was just in another subreddit where someone said "Children/ people who are very sick don’t have responsibilities or expectations. People care for them unconditionally and show more care and love." And when I pointed out that's just not the universal experience, downvotes. Like I don't really care about the downvotes, but people not only can't relate, it upsets them to even have to consider for a moment that's not everyone's experience.
At this point, I've pretty much given up trying to point out how stupid and inaccurate it is to generalize having a happy childhood. And whenever I try, I immediately remember why I don't.

Some people don’t know that ignorance is bliss and that just because they’re not affected by it doesn’t mean it’s not a problem for other people. I’m sorry that you feel that way. I hope you realise that choosing you and your happiness is an option.
