Omicron is similar to the various SARS2 cold viruses.

Is it common to be wary of other family members that have a cold at the same time? Possibly a bit, but FAR more important is treating the symptoms themselves.

I've never heard of being overly concerned about quarantining together. They put Cov19 infected together in hospitals.
