I am new to Buddhism and I really hooked into the teachings.
Could someone please advise who/what Buddha is this? and anything to keep in mind?
For now, I am just leaving him facing the main door and daily incense.
Thank you!

Welcome!
This isn't actually a statue of the Buddha. It's Budai
Nothing wrong with having it, though.

This is a statue of Budai, a bodhisattva associated with the future Buddha, Maitreya. In the Mahayana tradition, Budai is often placed facing outward as a symbol of welcoming the future Buddha. He is also commonly regarded as a symbol of abundance and good fortune, especially in Feng Shui practice.

Budai, this is more for fengshui decor for wishing for money and luck. Not really a statue for meditation or practice.
