View submission: Why Buddhism?
It‘s been tried and tested for 2500 years, to name an obvious reason.
It’s more of a practice than a religion. It’s not about believing, it‘s about experiencing and ultimately knowing
At least that is the case in my tradition, Zen.

Well, Judaism has us Buddhists beat by a thousand years at least. And if we point to the longevity of a practice to prove its value, then it's time for a revival of slavery.
