Purchased this from an antique store some 20 odd years ago. Would this be appropriate to display in an altar setting? Would like to further my practice and plan to take the 5 precepts in the near future.

Luv it...and I love her...or what she symbolizes.
It would be a nice template for a tattoo as well. Personally I'd tweak it here and there to make it my own.

Looks like traditional image of the Goddess of the River Lo || River Lo refers to I Ching configuration depicting part of cosmological processes, with the Goddess being its embodiment || If you find the work beautiful or inspiring, that's all the value and more money can buy
