Hey everyone!

Grinfo living in Brazil for about 3 years and recently got my Brazilian nationality. They made a mistake in the publishing of the nationality decision, so not public yet.

I have been working for a company abroad since before me and my Brazilian wife moved to Brazil. It has been great but the company is unstable and I fear I might loose my job.

For that reason I started looking around for other jobs, and I am also applying for Brazilian companies. Most of them are still in progress so no outcome yet. However, this morning I received a strange email saying that one of the companies will not continue my application because they perceived that I did not have the possibility to work in Brazil. I have all the rights as a permanent resident and will soon have even more as someone with nationality. My question: for who are you working? If for a Brazilian company, how did you land the job. I am afraid this might impact my other applications.

Im studying computer programming with the hopes of getting a remote job and moving to brazil. But i. Wondering if this is impossible, if i should look into another field, or just try to get a job with a brazilian company.

What was the "mistake in the publishing of the nationality decision"? You're not a citizen until it's published in the Diário Oficial da União. Did they spell your name incorrectly or something?
