Olá!
I was hoping you might know the best places to replace a cracked Google Pixel 8a screen please?
I love your country, the people and the weather.
Just very sad my new phone is damaged!
Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't think Google sells phones in Brazil, so it's unlikely that anyone will have a compatible screen in stock. You'd probably have to wait for the part to be shipped internationally. I've done this recently in Sao Paulo for a Pixel 6 (which could be an option if you want to mail it back and forth), but I'm not familiar with Criciúma. Overall it's probably not feasible within the time frame of a tourist visit.

Probably r/SantaCatarina is a better call for any doubts about this region. This sub is not even much big, is basically about Brazilians interested in English language and foreign having general doubts. Criciuma is not a quite visited place for Brazilians overall. Someone for sure will speak English in their state sub and maybe would help you better.

Pixel phones aren't sold here, so you are out of luck.

You will have to import the replacement parts.
I'm also a pixel owner and unfortunately Google doesn't sell them here, so you won't find parts in a typical repair shop.

Google doesn't sell Pixels in Brazil. I worked at Google and I know that for a fact.
If you do find a replacement, it won't be original and won't be cheap. Also, depending on how long you're staying, you might not have enough time to wait.
If the screen is still usable, I'd wait till you got back to Ireland and replace it there. Get a screen cover ,if you can find one, for the time-being. Or wrap it with cling film to protect it from moisture and dust.

Google pixel isn't a very prominent device in Brazil. I think you should wait until you're home to replace it.
