Recently had a bad experience with a boise therapist, is this pretty common? On the search for a new counselor/ therapist. Any suggestions?

From my experience, you might need to shop around for a therapist that’s right for you. I’m not sure what your “bad experience” was, but sometimes it might just be the therapists practice, methodology, or personality is not the right fit. Or they might just be a crappy therapist. I think it’s important to remember though they have schooling / credentials, therapists are ultimately just people.

I’m currently at Balanced Rock, which I’ve had great experiences with Laura. But ultimately it kind of comes down to what you’re looking for.
