Is it just me or does there seem to be a different church in this building just off Bogus basin road every other year? In the last decade I think it's been: Life Church, City Church, The Pursuit, River House, Collective Church, and now it looks like it's something called The Living Church. Is this just one church that keeps rebranding itself, or is it something about the building or location that attracts church plants?

I was in the construction crew that built the first church that took over the groceries story. It’s funny home many there have been there.
Funny story someone broke into the BB office by breaking thru the Sheetrock wall while we were demoing the grocery store.

Likely it's a location that is available to rent/lease while churchs settle into the area. Then they later find a different cheaper/more accessible/more central/____ location and move there. Then rinse and repeat. Also possible that the owner is friendly to churches renting his property.

This was the location of The Pursuit's Boise Campus in the 2010s. The Pursuit was a large multi-site church back then. Through a series of changes the Boise Campus became it's own independent church called Hill City Church around 2019. In early 2021 Hill City Church merged with Capitol City Christian Church and moved into their historic building at 9th and Franklin. This 110 year old brick building adjacent to Boise High required extensive renovation in 2021-2022 and is now beautifully restored. The stained glass windows are original and some of the best preserved in Idaho.
The Collective Church was meeting at the small old church on 18th and Eastman before it was converted to a rather large house. It then relocated to the Bogus Basin Rd location and shared the space with Hill City for a bit before Hill City moved, at which point it took over the lease. At some point Living Church took over the space, not sure if this was a rebrand though get the sense it's a completely new thing.
As for why this space keeps getting filled with churches: I think this is because the interior is built out as a church with stage, baptistery, offices, classrooms, etc. With Albertsons and the Co-op in the North End it may be that there isn't enough of a market for another grocery story in this location.

I know the living church, they were located elsewhere in its conception, and moved there after being kicked out (I’m not sure why) from their other location which was in a school.
It’s multiple churches at once, different times. And most of those churches are small and thus funding for rent varies and they move around.

I sure hope someone chimes in that they have attended there...
