Seen all of them and i'm dissapointed that there was no Hard Fork talk?!!? During the Scaling Bitcoin Conference?!!? I guess well have to do it ourselves. Great talks guys. Keep up the good work

Bitcoin itself will *never* scale.

What is possible, I admit, is that it interfaces with a system which actually is scalable. That's akin to a man saying "My horse can go 150 miles per hour! I just have to get off my horse, and hop into my Maserati."

However if that day should ever come, the obvious question will arise: "Why do we need Bitcoin at all?"

What do you guys think about the Bitcoin Covenants[1] presentation by Emin Gun Sirer? Here's a post about it from February[2], and I read on Twitter that it's already been implemented on the Elements Alpha sidechain. Seems to me like a very cool idea for disincentivizing theft, but I'm curious to know more about other potential ramifications.
