This summer I will be attending beyond wonderland at the gorge . I have been to concerts before, but I have never been to any EDM concert or a multi-day music festival. (Figured go big or go home)
I was hoping to get some tips/warnings about things I should expect or do in order to have the best experience at the festival.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this and thank you for your time!

I’m assuming you’re camping? In that case, bring the essentials you normally would for camping. The main thing you need to bring is HEAVY DUTY TENT STAKES. The gorge will take your belongings if they are not secured and throw them 100 feet into the air. I’m not kidding, there are videos of tents flying high in the sky.
People already commented essentials to bring, but to add to those lists, I would suggest a chest Fanny pack to guarantee your items won’t get stolen.
My only advice is have fun and don’t have too many expectations. Once it gets dark, pretty much everyone is on some type of drug so don’t get upset if someone bumps into you or comes up to you to hug you or tells you how amazing you are. Ecstasy will do that to people lol. Most importantly, watch your drinks, don’t bring them into the pit as people have been drugged before. Stay hydrated most importantly.
If you do get fucked up and don’t have someone to guide you back to your tent, it’s important to drop a pin on your phone and additionally add something like a light up flag pole to your car that waves high so when you’re near your car, you can easily locate it. I’ve had many people tripping balls alone pass out in our campsite because they eventually gave up trying to find their own campsite. Be friendly to people if they do this and just know they might be on a large amount of psychedelics and are lost.

Hydration backpack saves lives! Also don’t forget essentials like a mini sunscreen, earplugs and sunglasses ☺️

If you’re going to be rolling (especially for the first time) bring doggy p00p bags in case you have to throw up in an inconvenient location so you don’t yak on innocent bystanders

Concert ear plugs, such as Loop, Eargasm and the like. Wear them during every set. Not only will they protect your ears, it will allow you to sleep better. Wish I had started earlier! Good chance cell reception will be poor so pick up some Totem compasses online. They’ll ensure you never get lost. If you’re going to party, test everything - don’t trust anyone’s word. Fentanyl kills. Light rose-tinted sunglasses for the light shows at night and research PLUR. Maybe you’ll be into kandi trading. Have a wonderful time!
