How is it not between pearl snap, live oak hefe, and 512 pecan porter? Not saying these are the best or even my favorite but they seem like the staple Austin beers.

I'd do this based on raw sales (not dollars.) I'd bet you would be surprised and that Bud Light or something would win... But that isn't as pretentious as choosing something like Jester King's lamest but most available beer to compete with.

Austin beer choices have blown up. I would still vote Fireman's 4 or Shiner based on availability and popularity.

The big A makes Pearl Snap Austin specific, but there are just so many choices that it's all personal.

TIL that all Austinites drink only the weakest of beers. I guess all those IPAs are just for show.
