Hi! Jupiter and Saturn are simply really, really, really, really big. So despite their distances they still appear larger in our sky.

However Venus during its crescent phase does appear as large as Jupiter since it gets very close, which is why its edges are rather well defined in this picture.

It’s surface is just white unless you use a UV filter which I do usually but didn’t for this picture (you can check my others posts for UV Venus pics).
