I agree with all of this. My hot take is not everyone deserves to have a voice on the Internet(she said, typing an internet comment). There’s a lot of toxicity and no kind of checks and balances for the kind of toxic online Manosphere bullshit that exists.

I think this combined with what started as the incel movement has made the internet incredibly toxic for men. It turned into a space where rather than figure out why women won’t date you and make yourself a better partner for them, they seek out ways to manipulate the situation so that they can “win” a woman without changing themselves. Or just call them a bitch

I think there’s a huge difference between a forum like Reddit and a podcast though! A podcast is a platform, they have sponsors, people supporting them and backing them. They should not be allowed to spew hate.

I agree the incel movement is terrifying and it used to be limited to the men on the outskirts of society who were virgins without choice but now it’s nearly every man speaking like an incel. I know men who’ve cheated on their exes, slept with random girls and dropped them, spend lots of time on dating apps and objectifying women and these are still speaking like incels. Leaping out of their skin to condemn any woman they think is wrong or has wronged a man, talking about how feminism is the reason men have become isolated. It’s just plain hatred of women all round
