I met this guy who was nice, funny, good looking, successful etc all the good traits. And then he mentioned he’d just broken up with his ex, and he opened his phone, showed me her picture, and I looked almost exactly like her. It was so funny I couldn’t help but laugh. After the date I thanked him for his time but not for me. He texted me later that after he saw me he decided to get back with his ex to give them another go. Well good for you buddy glad I helped, I guess?

Omg something similar happened to me except I was the ex. My friend sent a screenshot of my ex posting his new gf and the words my bestie used were "omg she looks more like your twin than your twin does" like I have big goofy glasses, blonde hair, and I definitely wear too much eyeliner (I'd say those are my defining facial traits), and she had big goofy glasses, blonde hair, and wore lots of eyeliner (I still wore more tho >:D). I couldn't imagine being the current girl in that situation, I'd take a break from dating for a bit just to recenter myself
