Do you use anything to record it? I did a bit of reading in to the 30 plants a week thing and it was more complicated than I had previously thought, with like plant points? I just thought it was about eating different plant things a week

The plant points is only to deal with things that you use in such small quantities that they can’t really be considered a whole ‘plant’ in the weekly count. Things like that are assigned a quarter point each - so every 4 spices you use would count as 1 of your 30 a week. It’s honestly very simple.

I just use the Notepad app on my phone. Using the list function.

I separate it into 3 lists.

Fruit & Veg

Whole grains

Herbs & Spices - this list looks like this:

1. Fresh Basil/Parsley/fresh Dill/Fresh Tarragon

2. Cumin/Turmeric/cardamom/ginger

I did try one of the apps that exist to record it but within the first couple of days I came across three or four perfectly normal vegetables that the app didn’t have in the options so that got the boot!
