View submission: Do you eat your 5 a day?

I didn't for a long time. I had a terrible diet. Went on a health kick 4 months ago and have turned it around completely. No booze, no sugar, no processed foods and I eat fruits and vegetables everyday. I feel much better about it. My gut has improved massively and I've lost 5kg. I eat much more than the 5 a day now.

In my early 20's I was convinced I had some sort of undiagnosed health condition, I was so tired all the time - there had to be a reason!

In my 30's I realised there had been a reason all along. That instant noodles, toast and chocolate were not the makings of a well rounded diet and my diet has a massive impact on my energy levels, sleep, mood, just fucking everything really.

My SO has gone no booze and eats porridge for breakfast, banana as a snack. He eats a fair amount of vegetables but has been putting on weight.
