You're kinda missing my point. It's not like I spend ages freaking out over how difficult it is to understand, it's that "5 a day" is catchy but misleading *because* there are caveats. And like yeah, one grape obviously doesn't count, how many grapes are you supposed to eat for it to count?

Edit: I'm not asking the question in earnest, stop telling me how many grapes, I'm pointing out the ambiguity and inconsistency of the 5 a day rule

Its not exactly that either, nhs extract below;

Evidence shows there are significant health benefits to getting at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day. That's 5 portions of fruit and veg in total, not 5 portions of each. A portion of fruit or vegetables is 80g.
