View submission: Does Slimming World make sense?
It's not just the free pasta though, is it? The whole point is that you fill 2/3 of your plate with veg/fruit every meal, your pasta/carb of choice and protein take up 1/3. If you managed to put on 3kg based on the pasta, how much broccoli were you eating? Must have been a forest-full.
My problem with SW is that they still peddle the notion of fat is bad. Lots of synless "fat free" stuff, which is full of sugar. They'd rather you have a fat free processed berry yoghurt than berries and cream.

Agreed. Have 8 Muller lights full of processed junk but don't touch half an avocado.

I followed all the rules. I can't remember what they were now, it was more than a decade ago, but the SW leader tried to find a rule I hadn't followed, failed, and decided I must therefore be lying. I wasn't lying.
