Slimming World isn’t really designed to help people lose weight and keep it off—it’s designed to keep them coming back. They rely on gimmicks like 'syns' and 'free foods,' which don’t teach the basics of nutrition, calories, or portion control. This leaves people dependent on the program instead of building long-term habits.

They also don’t address the root causes of overeating, like emotional issues or stress, which are key to sustainable weight loss. Instead of empowering people with real education or tools for self-regulation, they focus on marketing and quick-fix solutions. It feels more like a business strategy than a genuine effort to help people, and I think that’s unethical.
