View submission: Does Slimming World make sense?

Yup, I was eating out with someone who was a part of slimming world. They switched their avocado for extra toast because "fats are unhealthy". Switching a healthy nutrient-filled food for empty carbs because of a common lie.

That summed up slimming world for me.

Half an avocado is 4 syns, an extra slice of toast is 4 syns. It sounds like they either misunderstood the diet, or wanted to use their syns on toast instead of avocado.

They were wrong, it doesn't claim that at all, and if that 'summed up ' Slimming World for you, without any further effort to inform yourself, it's your look out.

My friend on SW years ago would eat those disgusting yogurts that are full of gelatin and e numbers. They were, and still may be a SW thing and they're truly vile, taste like plastic . I could tell the SW people in the supermarket buying their multipacks.

Just remembered Muller Light 🤮
