View submission: Are opticians just glorified salesman's now?
I suppose £40 for a robust eye exam isn’t bad though! Especially when a regular eye test is around £30 haha

I was getting annoyed that my kids were costing £40 as well, so I've sent them off to specsavers where it's free AND they get free glasses.
Actually, Specsavers have been quite decent for them.
