I'm interested in current research about the number of adjuncts in colleges and universities in the US. In particular, I'd like to get some data on the composition of faculty that distinguishes between 4 year schools, community colleges, public, private, etc.

In digging around, I find some information. So, this Atlantic piece has some data that seems to go up to 2011: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2013/04/the-ever-shrinking-role-of-tenured-college-professors-in-1-chart/274849/

And this link gives some data up until 2009: http://nces.ed.gov/datalab/tableslibrary/viewtable.aspx?tableid=7093

But I'd really like to know what's been happening since then. Has the trend accelerated or what?
