Personally, when I say nothing it usually means I’m either lost in a fantasy or thinking about something so random and stupid that I’ll forget it in like three seconds.

I do that but when I say nothing I mean brain is on idle mode, not analyzing anything, just, relaxing.

Being asked, "What are you thinking about?" is enough to clear the thought buffer and I no longer remember what I was thinking about. Hence, "nothing."

I actually can think about NOTHING. It usually preceded me doing something dumb that would hurt me, like jumping off of a roof when I was a teen boy. Lol.

Or getting sloppy blackout drunk in college. Yeeeeh. It’s not the greatest superpower.

Nope. I literally can think about nothing. Stare blankly at anything while simultaneously not experiencing any external stimulus. It's like a micro sleep disguised as deep in pensive thought
