Why they lie about their height or dick sizes, as if we don’t have eyes

Honestly so many people lie about height on dating apps that even if you are above 6 ft you should lie and add an extra inch or two to adjust for inflation

I know a lot of other women don't share this sentiment, but I could not care less about height. Tall is cool, yeah, but so is short. I'm 5'2", it's easy to find a man taller than I am, but I don't care about that.

If he's an inch taller? Cool, he's still taller. If he's a foot taller? Cool. If he's an inch shorter? Awesome, I get to wear my hubby like a backpack.

Because flubbing an inch will work most of the time (for height) if the woman is considerably shorter that you she will not be able to tell the difference between 5'11, 6'0 and 6'1.

The only issue comes in when you're after someone who is the height you have listed, but that's pretty rare, and most women are 5'6 and below who are far enough to not tell

Most guys who are 5'11 will do much better on dating apps if they list 6'0, get past the filters and then just ignore the 5'11 and 6'0+ girls

3"+ gaps are just insecure men who think the world is out to get them

or dick sizes

With dick size, when asked directly, women will say it doesn't matter and it's how you use it that counts. But if you listen to women talking about dicks in other contexts, it matters very much if it's small.

It's the same with makeup - men say they don't care, but in practice they do and makeup does make a difference (even if they don't specifically notice it's being worn)

^((disclaimer: obviously I'm speaking about the general case here))

The same reason women put the thin photo up when they put on weight since. Hopefully you get the date or at least a chat and by the time you’re face to face they don’t care cause they already like you

One of my guy friends works EMS and he comes to the hospital I do registration at. He was telling me that he is 6 foot some. I go "you are not. I'm 5'7" and you are basically eye level to me"😂

THIS. My roommate is exactly 6ft tall, and isn’t attracted to shorter men. The sheer number of men she’s been out with who SAID they were 6ft and turned out to be 5’10 or less is APPALLING!! They ALLLLLL lead with a lie, and worse? Truly believed their personalities would win her over!! CLOWNS!!!

The penis thing is mostly caused by porn and by women. A woman's first go to in an argument is usually "you small dick mofo" or something of the sort. When you are actually below average it adds even more insult and can cause ED.

2 reasons.

1. You don't lie about it to someone who has seen it upclose.

2. People correctly assume you don't have a built in ruler in your eyes.

Right especially on dating apps, like don’t they get embarrassed when they do meet up with someone 😭

This happens constantly. I don't even care if he's the 6 ft someone decided we all want. I do care about the lying. I'll date guys taller than me, shorter than me, but not someone who lies to me. Automatic disqualifier.

And then when they try to insist you just must be much taller than your height. I'm 5'3 but I knew a guy who insisted I must be 5'7 because *he* as 5'10 and we were very similar in height. As if I could've just been secretly 5'7 and not known. I got the tape measurer and he still wouldn't accept he was short.

Because 99% of the time we are disqualified instantly just for our height or dick size.

Lying means you got your foot in the door. In person women are far less shallow than they are online or in their initial disqualification process.

That 99% quickly becomes a 50% or even better depending on how personable we are.

Dating for men is very much a numbers game. The norm is rejection. Anything we can do to just get a chance to get you to actually get to know us is worth it. If we still don't work out, then so be it, it wasn't meant to be. But getting that foot in the door is extremely difficult.

I'm saying this as a guy who has never had to lie about either. I'm over 6' and above average in the downstairs. I just get the mentality. Most women's initial filtering qualifiers are unreasonably high. It's basically the same as trying to apply for "entry level jobs" when they want minimum 10 years of experience.

The same reason women lie about their age and weight: insecurity. It is stupid and won't work for the reasons you mentioned, but some people do it anyway.

Because women have arbitrary requirements and act as if there’s any actual difference between 5’10 and 6’

I can answer this. Many women have expectations before they even consider dating someone that they have to be at least 6 ft tall, or have a dick that's x big. These women, if you tell them the truth that you're only 5'11 or your dick is just the average 5 inches, will refuse to date you because you don't meet their "door price" as I like to call it. However if you lie and say you're 6 ft tall, you get your foot in the door, she sees you are actually a pretty good guy, and it turns out being 6 ft tall isn't a make or break requirement after all

More simply put, men lie about their height and dick size because women lie about their admission requirements. Not all women mind you, but a very vocal group of them.

This. Twice now I’ve dated guys who are 6’1 on the apps and 5’10 irl. I couldn’t really care less but why lie about…2-3 inches?

Not even just on dating apps.. like for my summer work, i base certain things on height, and ill have men standing right next to me saying they're 6ft tall. They are the same height as me... I'm 5'6. You're lying to yourself buddy... and most likely others, and me. It's not that big of a deal. Just be honest. It helps me size you up for equipment...

On the apps atleast it increases the chance they get a first date where their personality or charisma can make up for the lack of height, because otherwise you would never have given them a chance in the first place.
