All of the relatives that could give details are dead now. I just remember he was genius level smart and got recruited out of college by the CIA. Something happened though. He would show up at random times throughout my childhood for a holiday or birthday. He was never quite right. Harmless but very strange from the point of view of a school kid. At one time he was married and had at least one child. Divorced by the time I knew him. He died relatively young (50ish) in a cheap apartment in a major city with a faded piece of paper with my grandma's phone number on it and not a cent to his name. My grandparents buried him.
