Yes but you're saving him, literally. My relatives would stop answering the phone the minute they discovered I was to be homeless. Believe me, what you're doing is like, heroic man. Very rare.

This is the future. Keep on good terms with everybody and stay to yourself. Watch the grandkids, teach them what you know. Pull your own weight. And learn not to be a whiney asshole.

I totally get it. I told my father to give the lion's share of any inheritance to my layabout brother, not because I'm close to him or hugely generous but because I have only enough for my own retirement and can't afford to support someone else, especially someone who has made no effort in life.
