View submission: Living with no Retirement money
They live with family and take part time or full time work. It's horrible for people when they haven't been able to save anything, because their employers stole it from them.

Seems like there’s a middle ground in there somewhere. I know people who should be atleast partially retired and aren’t, yet have $1000+ vehicle payments, financed side by sides, camper, whatever.

It didn't help when the markets tanked a few times, resulting in devastating losses of retirement savings.
This happens two- three times over your 30-40yr career, and you have to get a job at Costco after your previous employer lays you off after they decide they don't want to pay for your retirement. ( That is, if you are physically able to work in a warehouse)
