I've been using this ID across the internet for over 20 years. I think anyone who knows me would know it's me.
I have friends I've met online who *only* know me by this name :)

I used a single name that includes my real first name for the first 15+ years of the internet, including for my email address. It started as my AOL handle, but I branched out from that name about 10 years ago. Now, I use it only for Instagram and one outdoor forum. While nobody IRL has commented on my outdoor forum posts, I'm sure that people know who I am there.
Given all that is going on, I may either change the Instagram name or take the account private.
