I'm old too but I love Reddit for the opposite reason - lotsa smart people here. But it's the ones who can't spell or use proper grammar with run-on paragraphs that make me want to quit it every day.

Like everywhere….. so many morons, why do you think the aliens haven’t revealed themselves to us yet? They’re just waiting for us all to kill each other, then they will come down and rescue what’s left of our planet. There’s just no talking to some people… I leave you with a great Elvis Costello song (written by Nick Lowe): “what’s so funny ‘bout peace, love and understanding”.
