I’m almost to that point with Facebook. X and TikTok I’ve never been to and now I won’t.

The most liberating feeling is deleting your Facebook account. Then you can start another one with a fake name and be completely anonymous so you can still visit business pages.

The only time I've ever really used Xitter (bonus point if you read that as Shitter) is when breaking news happens. Not ever having an insta, tiktok, or whatever else the kids are using these days has never affected me deeply. I just want my Live Journal back! Shakes cane

In the last few weeks (since they stopped fact checking, more or less) I've noticed that things i comment on in other forums pop up on my FB feed. Someone asked about spice blends in a line chat and an hour later i had 3 spice blend recipes on my feed. I commented in a Canadian reddit chat and now my feed is full of i love Canada. It's gotten scary and I'm debating deleting fb from my phone and only using it on my gaming tablet. I have all targeted and learning things turned off everywhere i can, but i haven't found those options in fb. My Amazon and Google aren't nearly this bad.

I deleted all my Meta accounts (personal FB, business FB and IG) last month after Zuck's horrendous policy changes.

Connecting in more tangible ways now.
