Please do not delete your post after receiving your answer. Consider leaving it up for posterity so that other Redditors can benefit from the wisdom in this thread.

Once your thread has run its course, instead of deleting it, **you can simply type "!lock" (without the quotes) as a comment anywhere in your thread to have our Automod lock the thread**. That way you won't be bothered by anymore replies on it, but people can still read it.

I think the pursuit of happiness was a wonderful movie. Fatherhood and its major struggles

Other suggestions would include the classic action ones like Rambo, rocky, terminator etc, nothing too deep here just plain old action

Perfect YouTube series: Outdoor Boys - Guy documents surviving in the wilderness and sub-zero temperatures using minimal supplies, building an off-grid homestead, hunting and fishing with his sons, etc.

A movie, rather than a TV show, but Alone in the Wilderness and its sequel - Dick Proenneke retires to build his own cabin in the wilderness in Lake Clark National Park. Documentary shows selecting a homestead building his log cabin completely by himself, as well as all the other things he had to do to survive completely off-grid.

Again, not reality TV but;

Check out Mr Inbetween. - A divorced single father trying to keep his life together juggling being a cold hearted hit man and trying to be a good father to his young daughter.

Also check out Reacher - The manliest man on TV. Big, jacked, with a strong moral compass. A former military professional who lives a minimalist lifestyle, just walks across America, stopping in small towns and helping those that need it.
