At 3 weeks in OP doesn’t have the professional relationship to use memes.  Since they’re incapable of recognizing that they are wise to be extremely prudent going forward.  Memes are regularly used in many workplaces and successful when appropriate.  They’re also termination worthy when they’re not.  Your HR would know the difference.  Unlike OP

Whether memes are professional or not in the workplace depends on the workplace itself. They can help build a positive work culture, or they can contribute to a culture of harassment. The OP was too new and lacked the ability to "read the room", to borrow the phrase of another.
