Hi All, i have a tree in my yard, she's big! It is also quite close to the house and i'm afraid about the impact of the roots on the foundations. (AMS West)
Anyways - i know i need to apply for a permit and I already made one attempt. I got stuck when they asked me to use a tool to 'make a drawing' I couldn't understand how the hell to use this tool. I asked the gemente for help but they don't and google was not my friend. Would seriously love some help from people who have been through this process or maybe you know a company who can help. I know it may not be approved but I want to try and at least make the application- cheers all

Get a professional to look at the tree, and go forwards frome there: https://www.bomencheck.nl/[1][2]
~65% of all trees in the city are in gardens and private land like your tree. Please be aware that cutting down a large tree has negative effects on the sound level, summer heat, local animals, and views surrounding your home. Neighbors might not be happy about it, which might cause some social tensions. Talk to your neighbors if the tree must be cut down because of health and/or safety concerns.

Why would it be bad for your foundation?
