There is a lost and found at Leidseplein where you can drop it off. Would recommend leaving it there (if they are closed you can do it through the mailbox) if you dont trust that you can also drop it off at the police station.

Try triggering Siri with the button on the right side and say "call mom" or "call dad". Worked for me in the past.

Pro tip: if the phone is on, try to use "hey google, bel mama/papa" or any other variation, even when the phone is locked it will put the call through (if google assistent is turned on ofcourse)

I had Line 17 yesterday a couple times. In case you didn't found the owner already: you could've given it to one of my colleagues so we can put it in lost and found. Next day around 12, they could look at iLost.nl to find it back and make appointment to pick it up.

Luckily you found the owner and made their day!

look if you can access some contacts from the lock screen, if you can, call that person so that person can tell the owner that u found the phone. and leave ur personal number behind

Simultaneously press and hold the side button and either volume button until the sliders appear and the countdown on Emergency SOS ends, then release the buttons. Or you can enable iPhone to start Emergency SOS when you quickly press the side button five times.
