Good news - Reddit admins remove a number of harassing hate subreddits, including /r/FatPeopleHate. Nothing of value was lost.

Apparently, it's the in-thing on Reddit to hate on fat people. Something of which if they just ignored, they would actually see less of.

And they seem to think that witch-hunting overweight people will fix the problem, when really they are fueling the very thing they hate. It's a bigger circlejerk then /r/circlejerk.

Nothing is lost - except for free speech of course. I mean its ridiculous, really really ridiculous.. Even people who got offended by sub-reddits like FPH on a daily basis like Notch or Boogie are very vocal against this censorship.. so why do you people have such problem understanding this basic principle?

~~We lost freedom of speech. Nothing of value right?~~

~~I don't even like fatpeoplehate, and I find this ban overreaching and stupid. I don't need nanny admins trying to "protect my feelings". If I don't like it, I don't go to it.~~

edit: you're completely wrong, me from the past
